2014 암 대사 워크숍 개최

국립암센터(원장 이강현, http://www.ncc.re.kr)는 8월 22일(금) 오후 1시 국립암센터 연구동 1층 대강당에서 「2014 암 대사 워크숍(2014 NCC Cancer Metabolism Workshop)」을 개최한다.

이번 워크숍은 「어둠 속에 한줄기 빛(A Light in the Darkness)」이라는 주제로 진행될 예정이며, 세션1에서는 ▲말기암, 난치암에 희망적인 암 대사연구의 태동 ▲전이 암세포의 에너지부족 극복 기전 ▲암의 에너지대사와 생체에너지학 이해를 통한 암세포 성장 억제 전략 ▲종양 대사를 표적으로 하는 새로운 임상치료 가능성에 대한 연제 발표로 진행된다.

또한 세션2에서는 ▲암세포의 활성산소와 에너지 대사 간의 관계 ▲표피성장인자 EGF와 AMPK 효소 간의 신호 네트워크를 통한 암 대사조절 ▲종양 유전체, 신호, 대사 네트워크 간의 융합을 통한 새로운 항암 전략 ▲신진대사와 자가소화작용의 이해와 암 치료적용 ▲암세포와 줄기세포의 대사작용이 갖는 공통점과 차이점에 대한 발표가 이어진다.

이강현 국립암센터 원장은 “이번 워크숍을 통해 국립암센터 미래도전암대사통합연구사업 및 보건복지부 암정복과제 ‘암 대사’연구과제 책임자들을 중심으로 암 대사 연구의 방법론과 성공적 성과들이 소개될 것이며, 관심있는 이들과의 협력의 장이 되기를 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.
